5 stars! Spoiler free review!
Woah woah woah, did I discover a book in which the miscommunication is valid and works and they act like adults about it?! YES!
So... I loved this book. I think this one may have even been my favorite of the three books. Let me just tell you all the things I loved about it because there wasn't anything that I didn't. Hence the 5 stars!! (a rarity for me to give a contemporary book more than 4 stars these days even when they're really really good)
Once again Talia Hibbert hitting us with the diversity in race and neurodivergence. All the books have that representation, so of course, this one didn't disappoint in that aspect.
Eve Brown is just the adorable, loveable, chaotic baby sister you want to hug and coddle, but know she must make her way on her own.
Jacob Wayne is autistic and unashamed. He's so sure of himself, but our Eve throws him off his routine first with hitting him with her car, then with her female whiles, and it's absolutely WONDERFUL.
The banter was quick witted and hilarious.
The plot was a roller coaster, full of random disasters and satisfying victories.
And the part you're all reading this series for, the romance. OH MAN, this romance was FEISTY. I loved each of these characters so much and was so so so invested in them getting to know each other emotionally and as people. And their steamy scenes!!! Those were something else. I swear I probably looked away from the pages to take a couple deep breaths or say "oh my lord." a good amount of times. These two are just awkward and hot headed and so into each other, I love it all!
The ending was also perfect because we get almost like a brief epilogue to the other two couples and an ending for Eve and Jacob.
SO. If I had to reread any of these three books it would definitely be THIS ONE. So so so good. Recommend x 1000000.
