Favorite Books & Series of 2015

Dorothy Requina

FAVORITES:

Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas - Yes, all of them because I LOVE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING about this entire world. The Throne of Glass series is now one of my absolute favorite ongoing series. Sarah J. Maas is now one of my auto-buy-authors.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell - Fangirl speaks to the deepest parts of my soul. I could talk about it for forever, literally. I relate so well to this book, more than any book I’ve read ever. This was my first Rowell book, but definitely not my last. Cannot wait to read more from her.

The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson - I really enjoyed Kiss of Deception, but I was blown away more by Heart of Betrayal. Like I’ve said many times, it was everything I wanted and more. I’m super excited for the third book to come out because I was left with a cliffhanger that needs to be solved!

The House of Hades by Rick Riordan - I read the Heroes of Olympus series this year and this fourth book was my favorite of the five! Most know I had huge problems with the last book even though I liked it. That’s why House of Hades is my fave because you can never have too much Percy.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling - I finally started making my way through the Harry Potter series and managed to finished the first three. I LOVED Prisoner of Azkaban! The ending just tugged so hard on my heart strings and I know the next four will too.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan - I finished the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series with reading the last three books. The fifth and final book was my favorite of them all. I mean.. Percy again. Just love him to bits.

The Syrena Legacy by Anna Banks - Of Poseidon, Of Triton, and Of Neptune were my first mermaid YA books I’ve read and I really had fun reading this series! Anna Banks just has one of the best senses of humor I’ve had the pleasure of reading which made this trilogy read so quickly. Also, I thoroughly love and believe in mermaids so these books had to go on my favorites.

*All of these are books I have read in 2015. They are not necessarily books that came out in 2015.*
